AVIF Scholarships

As part of our ongoing mission to help preserve and further the invaluable Viniyoga tradition, The American Viniyoga Institute Foundation provides Viniyoga teacher training scholarships to qualified yoga instructors. These yoga teacher training scholarships from AVIF consist of partial tuition discounts ranging from 10% – 50% of the program tuition. Scholarships are awarded based on availability of funds and the eligibility of the applicant. Please review eligibility requirements before applying for a scholarship.

Deadline for Application
Applications must be postmarked by the date specified in the offering. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Applicants will be notified by email when their applications are received and when awards are announced. Applicants should notify AVIF regarding substantial changes in their financial status or other relevant information.

 

Restrictions on Application
Members and relatives of members of the AVIF Board of Directors and its committees are not eligible for scholarship awards.

 

Confidentiality
All information provided by the applicant will be used confidentially by AVIF and only in consideration of scholarship awards. With the express written consent of the applicant, AVIF may share application information with other organizations for the sole purpose of awarding additional tuition assistance.

 

Re-applying
Applicants who do not receive an award may re-apply in the next application period.
